There are several ways one can go about initiating a floor covering purchase. You can call us at 412 469 2500 and request an in home estimate complete with samples brought out to you. You can email us by filling out a request under the “contact” section of our website, or you are always welcome to stop into our showroom and warehouse at 905 Martha Street Munhall Pa 15210.
Free estimates
We always have and always will provide free estimates withing a 15 mile radius of our Munhall location. We have never charged a fee for and estimate and offered “to take it off the purchase price if you go with us”. You are welcome to come in with your sizes for a “ballpark” estimate, but we will always do a site visit to confirm sizes. Call us micro managers but it helps us sleep better at night.
The ordering and scheduling process
Once you have selected your new carpet and or flooring we take a deposit of 1/2 down. This can be in the form of Cash, Check, Master Card or Visa. The balance will be due upon completion of the job. (These terms sometimes vary on commercial and ongoing accounts) We then order the material. Depending on the type of material and the manufacturer this can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. Once we are in physical possession of your material we will call to schedule your installation giving you fair notice so you can be ready.
Customers responsibilities
We will have discussed prior to the installation about who is lifting the old carpet and moving the contents. Some like to save every dollar they can, and some like the convenience of having someone else do it all. In the case that you will be having us move the furniture you will still need to have all of the knick knacks, small items, electronics and personal items down and out of the way. China closets must be empty etc. Certain items such as pianos, water beds, grandfather clocks, and pool tables, to name a few, will require the customer to have someone take care of.
Final thoughts
Upon completion of the job we will sweep up and put your house back in order (assuming we are handling the furniture). Also upon completion your balance will be due in full. Again we accept Cash, Check, Master Card or Visa for payment.
